PASSIVE WAYS OF LOSING WEIGHT

This seems to be the trending topic today especially among women. Well as men are aiming at body building, women want to look as small as possible. The most effective methods I would say would be; kill your appetite and start exercising today. But let’s face it, life is not as easy as that.  Weight loss is tough but here are some of the ways you could lose a few pounds over time.

Exercise
This is the most widely recommended method for losing weight. However when someone talks about exercise, the first thing that pops into someone’s mind is going to the gym or jogging early morning yet there are simpler ways of losing weight through our daily lives. For most people that consider themselves over weight they live a very comfortable life. Even a place you could foot to get to they prefer using a car, but why should it be that way. A simple walk once per day could do you the trick. It doesn’t mean you have to go anywhere, just find someone that makes you smile and decide to have regular walks with the person, you may not lose much so fast, but gradually you will see the changes.

Avoid Alcohol consumption
I don’t say you should be an alcohol police. But weight loss is a difficult task, it’s by choice and you have to work towards it. So if it means a week, or a year without alcohol then why not try it after all the person you are helping is yourself.
Alcohol on its own has effects like diminished performance, mental impairment, possible addiction, diabetes and liver disease to varying degrees in certain individuals. When alcohol is combined with other foods it postpones the fat-burning process and contributes to greater fat storage.

Fat burning foods
Today a list of more than 300 foods that help with weight loss have been discovered. Just like name sounds if you consume these foods then you will lose weight. The list is long but these are some of the fat losing foods I would recommend; Almonds, Dairy products (fat-free or low-fat milk, yogurt, cheese), Eggs, Turkey (lean meats), Berries, Enova oil (soy and canola oil), Peanut butter, Fatty fish, Trigger fullness, Grapefruit, eat the fleshy white membranes, Green tea, Chili pepper, Spinach and green vegetables, Beans and legumes.

Eliminate sugars and starch
Foods containing sugars and starch stimulate the secretion of insulin which is the main fat storage hormone in the body. Thus when the insulin level is lowered, fat can easily get out of the fat stores. In addition, the kidneys will excrete more sodium and water which will reduce the water weight.

Eat protein, and vegetables
Protein diets reduce the thoughts about food and reduce the late night snacking.
As for vegetables, they mainly contain fiber, vitamin and minerals and all these are important for one to be healthy. So if you have an eating disorder, this could be the best way to go, however much you stack your plate with vegetable you won’t gain fat.

Drink water
Water has no calories and has very little sodium. This makes water a perfect drink for one interested in slimming. This may sound strange but water actually helps in flashing out the excess weight as well as start your metabolism. You can also add lemons or mint leaves in your drinking water and this will still be safe for you to lose weight.

Have adequate sleep

Studies show that insufficient promotes hunger and appetite which can cause excessive food intake which eventually leads to weight gain. Lack of sleep also creates a feeling of tiredness which make the person reluctant to do physical exercises. Furthermore, it makes people make poor food choices thus people are more inclined to eat more food than they actually need. Insufficient sleep also reduces the ability of the fat cells to respond to the insulin. Insulin is a hormone that is important for the breakdown of fat.
